LeanDNA recognizes and values your privacy. LeanDNA has created this Privacy Policy to disclose its use of personal data you provide when you access or use LeanDNA’s online and/or mobile services, websites, and software provided on or in connection with the services or websites (collectively, the “Website”).

This Privacy Policy covers only data collected through the Website and not any other data collection or processing, including, without limitation, data collection practices of other webpages to which we link or data that we collect offline or through non-LeanDNA websites, products, or services. Occasionally, we may refer to this Privacy Policy in notices and consent requests related to special-purpose web pages, for example, if we invite you to submit ideas to improve the Website; under such circumstances, this Privacy Policy applies as modified in the particular notice or consent request (e.g., with respect to types of data collected or purposes of collection).

By subscribing, registering to download, or requesting any information on our Website, you consent to us contacting you with information regarding our products and future content offers. You may opt-out at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link found in the footer of our email messages or by emailing us at team@leandna.com with the subject line “Unsubscribe” from the address from which you wish to unsubscribe.

1. Information We Collect

In some instances, you may provide us with your personally identifiable information, which could include: your name, street address, telephone number, email address, job title, and any other information we collect about you that by itself is not personally identifiable information but if combined with personally identifiable information could be used to personally identify you.

Examples of when this takes place would be when you contact us, download information like a white paper, request a service, subscribe to email notifications or newsletters, comment on blog posts, offer reviews; or submit any other information capture form.

We use this information in a number of ways. For example, we use email and other addresses and contact information for support, and notifications, to provide you with information or offers, to distribute service and policy updates, and to share marketing releases.

2. Consent

LeanDNA offers any user the choice to utilize the Website. If you choose to use the Website, you are specifically consenting to the use of any information you have provided to LeanDNA as set forth herein and in the Terms of Service.

3. Security

We use reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information and use physical and technical safeguards to secure your data.

We use third-party providers to provide the technology required to provide our Website, including hardware, networking, software, and storage.

These facilities may be located in the United States of America or in other geographies.

Although we will use reasonable efforts to secure network communications and our physical locations, we cannot guarantee that the information submitted to, maintained on, or transmitted from our networks or locations will be completely secure.

4. Sharing Data With Third Parties

To provide services via our Website, the information we collect and receive may be disclosed to third parties as (i) described in this policy, (ii) if you otherwise give your consent, or (iii) if the disclosure is legally required.

If you choose to contact us using a contact form like the one on our contact page, or if you choose to request information like an e-book or download through one of our online forms, the information that you submit will be forwarded to HubSpot and/or Salesforce who provide us with email and CRM services. We consider HubSpot Salesforce to be third-party data processors.

If you choose to contact us via email, the information you supply will not be stored by this website but will be sent to us in an email. Our email servers are provided by Google. We consider Google to be a third-party data processor.

We use a number of additional third-party data processors, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Pendo, Atlassian, FreshDesk, and LinkedIn to process data on our behalf. These third parties are based in the USA and are GDPR or SOC 2 compliant, or both.

We may disclose information collected if we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary in order to comply with official investigations or legal proceedings initiated by governmental and/or law enforcement officials, or private parties, including but not limited to: in response to subpoenas, search warrants, or court orders; (ii) if we sell or transfer all or a portion of our company’s business interests, assets, or both, or in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, restructuring, or other company change, or (iii) as otherwise disclosed in the terms and conditions of our agreements with customers, including our separately posted and applicable Terms of Use for the relevant Services.

We may disclose aggregated or anonymous information where reasonable steps have been taken to ensure the data does not contain your personally-identifying information.

5. Access to Information

You can access any of the personally identifiable information that we collect by making a subject access request in accordance with relevant legislation. You can contact us at team@leandna.com to make a request.

You can ask us to correct or update your personally identifiable information if you consider it to be inaccurate. Email team@leandna.com with information to support your request.

To protect customer privacy and security, we reserve the right to take reasonable steps to verify a customer’s identity prior to granting access to or processing changes or corrections to such information.

6. Third-Party Sites

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites. Please note that the privacy and other policies of any such third-party website may differ materially from this Policy.
